Ingredients:
 675g of Wholemeal Flour
450g of Strong white flour
2 tsp of bi-carbonate soda
2 tsp of salt
Approx 800ml of buttermilk
 
Brown Soda Bread
   

Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 230°C.  Mix all dry ingredients in
a large bowl. Make a centre in the mix and  add
most of the buttermilk until dough is formed.

2. Add more buttermilk if necessary. Place the dough 
onto a floured surface and roll into a ball.
Make a cross on top of the dough and place the dough
onto a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Reduce
the heat to 200°C and bake for another 25 minutes.
 
Serving Suggestion: With orang marmalade or any jam.
